Members Receive

1. Access to the Studio: Enjoy full access to our studio. With the exception of private events and workshops, members receive 24/7 access. Members can work indoors and outdoors at our studio and utilize all our pottery equipment, glazes and tools. Our intention in creating a small membership system is to ensure mutual care amongst members and their work, along with fostering a strong sense of support and community.

2. Online Platform: Through Google Docs, Whatsapp, and our Instagram page, members can access the studio rules, studio schedule, and discussion groups where they can exchange with other members, along with resources to support their work. Your work will also be shared and showcased, with your approval, on our Instagram page.

3. Community Gatherings: Community gatherings are a personal goal of mine. This is a time to connect with fellow studio members, discuss ideas, troubleshoot issues and support one another. This will be an opportunity for members to share what they're working on and receive support with any challenges they’re facing in their creative practice. Community gatherings would include Raku Firing Parties, BBQs, etc.

4. Storage Space: Every member will receive their own shelf at the studio to safely store their tools, clay, and materials.

5. Firings: By maintaining a small studio size our team ensures the best care when handling work to reduce the possibility of accidents, as much as possible. Only trained and experienced members will handle member work and fire the kiln to ensure high quality firings. Scheduled bisque and glaze fires are open to all members without any additional fees.

6. Experimentation: Members are welcome to experiment with local clays, glazes and commercial clay bodies. We'll work together to ensure proper preparations are made for firings to ensure there aren't accidents that happen in the kiln. We're here to support and encourage exploration and growth.
